While the celebrations may have moved indoors and become more intimate due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is no reason for the fun and gaiety to be scaled down at all! With parades getting cancelled and social distancing norms in place, this year is all about thinking out of the box and unleashing your creative side in celebrating this much-loved holiday this year. We give you 5 great ways to max out this year’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations at home and make it a memorable holiday for all.

 

    1. Make some green + rainbow food

      Start your day off and Serve up a fun filled St Patrick’s day breakfast, You can't go wrong with rainbow pancakes topped with some lucky charms and cool whip, the kids will love it!

      You can also choose to add green food colouring to each meal to stick to the theme and serve snacks topped with green frosting.For lunch make a spread of rainbow colored vegetables and dip or use a shamrock cookie cutter and cut out sandwiches In the shapes of shamrocks. Make some Irish potato bites, Irish Guinness stew and spinach and artichoke dip for dinner, but do remember to make some shamrock shakes to complement the festive spread and end with some desserts.
